Those with antique tractors and small gasoline-powered engines are being asked to take part in a special event this June at Lincoln Log Cabin State Historic Site near Charleston.
The Illinois State Police (ISP), District 12, handled approximately 200 incidents due to the weather over the weekend. Troopers handled 45 crashes from 5:00 P.M. January 20th to Noon on January 21st. Five of the crashes handled involved injuries.

The Newton High School girls varsity basketball game with Salem that was postponed last week, has been rescheduled for Saturday, January 28 at 4:30 at Newton. There will be no junior varsity game.
