MACOMB — Aldermen plan Monday to discuss a proposal to upgrade the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning control system in Macomb City Hall. The firm Entec has made the proposal and City Administrator Dean Torreson will provide an analysis at the city council's committee of the whole meeting.
Council members may also discuss a pending city ordinance regarding video gaming. The ordinance would amend the present municipal code ordinance by eliminating food sales requirements and space requirements. State law limits gaming locations to a maximum of five video gaming machines.
A pending city annexation ordinance could also come up for discussion. The Midwest Grass and Forage Addition next to the southwestern portion of Macomb has requested annexation.
The council committee of the whole meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:15 p.m. on the second floor of Macomb City Hall.
