The North Fulton volleyball squad posted a 4-1 record at Saturday’s Bushnell-Prairie City Varsity Volleyball Tournament.

The North Fulton volleyball squad posted a 4-1 record at Saturday’s Bushnell-Prairie City Varsity Volleyball Tournament.


The tournament was moved from Bushnell to Havana due to water damage suffered to the gym floor at B-PC.


The Lady Wildcats started their day rallying for a 5-21, 21-13, 16-14 victory over Havana.


Carlee Quick tallied 19 digs, while Addy Williams added 17 digs and 11 set assists for North Fulton. Brooke Utsinger had eight kills and Grace Bridson four kills, while Sloan Miller chipped in six set assists for the victors.


North Fulton next beat West Hancock 21-10, 21-16.


Utsinger and Miller had three kills each, while Kendra Hartstirn added three service aces for the Lady Wildcats. Williams recorded seven set assists and six digs, while Quick chipped in four digs.


North Fulton moved to 3-0 in tournament play after beating Abingdon-Avon 21-16, 21-17.


Utsinger tallied seven kills, while Williams had eight digs and six set assists for the Lady Wildcats. Quick also had eight digs for the winners.


North Fulton defeated Bushnell-Prairie City 21-10, 21-16 to move to 4-0 in tournament play.


Utsinger had eight kills and three service aces, while Hartstirn also recorded three service aces.


Williams finished with five set assists, while Quick and Miller notched seven and six digs respectively for the Lady Wildcats.


The final match of the day saw West Central defeat North Fulton 21-17, 21-18.


Bridson finished with seven kills and Miller five set assists. Quick added 17 digs and Audrey Tarochione 10 digs for the Lady Wildcats.


Quick and Utsinger were selected to the all-tournament team as North Fulton upped its record to 14-11 on the season.
