FFA celebrates special week

National FFA Week was celebrated the week of February 23-27. The members of the Newton FFA Chapter had several activities planned for that week. On the morning of February 25th they had their 1st Annual Farmers Day Fashion Show in the NCHS Auditorium. Students were encouraged to wear their ‘best’ farmer clothes. There were 21 entries in the competition. The winners are shown in the above photo. They were left to right, Ty May, second place (receiving $50); John Lidy, first place (receiving $75); and Nash Swisher, third place (receiving $25). (photo by Paula Lidy )
