Four candidates filed nominating petitions for the April 7th school board election. There are three open positions on the board. Kathy Black, Gordon Millsap, Mike Knepper and Holly Farley all filed petitions by the deadline which was 5 p.m. Monday, January 26th. Kathy Black, filed at 8 a.m. January 20th which was the first day for filing, thus her name will be the first on the ballot.
Terms of current board members - Marvin Allison, Gordon Millsap and Wes Pitcher - will expire.
Incumbents Marivn Allison and Wes Pitcher did not seek re-election.
