The 11 and Under Jasper County All-Stars competed in the Cal Ripken Ohio Valley Regional in Logansport, Indiana on July 29 through August 1.  They finished with 2 wins and 1 loss in pool play to advance to the single elimination tournament where they were eliminated by eventual OVR Champion, Crown Point, IN.

In the first game, Jasper County faced a team from Batesville, IN.  Batesville jumped on top of Jasper County with two runs in the top of the second inning and led 2-0 until Jasper County came to bat in the fourth inning.  With the help of five walks and two hits,  Jasper County scored seven runs to lead 7 - 2 after four innings.  Jasper County tacked on five more runs in the fifth inning to win the game 12 - 2.   The game was called after 5 innings due to the 10 run rule.

Leading the way for Jasper County was Brock Mammoser with two singles and three runs batted in, Mitch Jansen had a single, double and one RBI, and Tim Weber had a single and an RBI.

The second contest for Jasper County, Bay Port, Wisconsin won by a score of 14 - 1 using 11 walks and 9 hits to score the victory.  Jasper County was led by Mitch Bierman with a single and an RBI, and Jared Bollman with a double.

The third contest for Jasper County was a 2 - 1, hard fought victory, over Vincennes, Indiana.  Jasper County used great pitching and flawless defense to score the victory.  Jasper County broke a 0-0 tie in the third inning.  Brock Mammoser drew a one out walk and went to second base on a wild pitch.  After a groundout advanced him to third, he scored on a wild pitch to take a 1-0 lead.  It stayed that way until Cunningham from Vincennes led off the fifth inning with a home run to right field.

Jasper County came back in the bottom of the fifth inning to take a 2 - 1 lead.  Luke Geier led off the inning with a single to right center field.  With two outs, Mitch Jansen lined a base hit down the third base line.  John Grunloh, with runners on first and second, hit a slow roller to shortstop.  The shortstop tried to make a play for a force out at second base, but a hustling Mitch Jansen beat the throw, and Luke Geier scored all the way from second on the play.

Brock Mammoser went five innings for the winners getting four strikeouts against no walks.  He faced the minimum batters through four innings with the help of two double plays.  Mitch Jansen came in to pitch the sixth inning to get the save.

In the fourth game of the tournament for Jasper County,  Crown Point scored 10 runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings to win 10 - 0.  Brock Mammoser, Mitch Jansen, and Jared Bollman had singles for Jasper County.

Jasper County 11U All-Stars finished the season with a 12 - 7 record.  They finished third at the Flora Wooden Bat Tournament, and advanced to the quarterfinals of the Ohio Valley Regional with two wins.
