Wyatt Spearheads Coin Drive-NCHS Junior, Peyton Wyatt, recently spearheaded a coin drive competition at the high school. Each first hour class was given a bucket to put their “spare change” in each day. Whichever class could collect the most money would be treated to breakfast provided by the Student Council. Peyton appealed to the teachers and students and it paid off! There was over $200 in Mrs. Underwood's bucket alone! Her Calculas class is pictured with their donuts and milk.
Peyton presented all of the money donated by the 1st hour classes to Principal Rick Athey, whose daughter was injured in an accident.
