Alice Joan Craddock, 83, of Pontiac, went to her eternal home at 6:30 p.m. at Accolade Healthcare of Pontiac on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, with her family by her side.
A graveside memorial service and interment will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Southside Cemetery Mausoleum, 400 S. Locust St., Pontiac, with Deacon Jim Wallace officiating.
Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, has charge of arrangements.
Alice was born Feb. 9, 1935, in Lexington, to William Claude and Lucille A. (Roeske) Rhodes. She married Donald Craddock Sr. on Dec. 31, 1955. He passed away in 1994.
She is survived by three daughters, Patti Dawson of Pontiac, Mary Jean (Jim) Ralph of Graymont, Sharon (Tom) Bingham of Ludington, Mich.; three grandchildren, Kim Neathey of Florida, Lisa (Ben) Vanderzyden of California, Amy Lynn (Tony) Dipientrantonio of Bloomington; three great-grandchildren, Blake, Logan and Gavin; and very special friends, Felix and Diane Salinas.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Donald E. “Crash” Craddock Jr. and Gregory P. “Kook” Craddock; three brothers; and two sisters.
Alice attended schools in Lexington. She worked at Nationwide Glove Factory, St. James Hospital, and as a homemaker. Alice loved garage sales, going fishing and doing word search puzzle books.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family or a charity of the donor’s choice.
