DWIGHT — Richard Charles Wagner, 95, Dwight, died at 6:10 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community.
Cremation rites were accorded.
Inurnment will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 21 at Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury, with Pastor Mike Ebersohl officiating and full military rites accorded by the Fairbury VFW and American Legion posts.
Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wagner was born May 5, 1923 in Joliet, the son of George F. and May Bell Stoll Wagner. He married Ann Mundell July 24, 1949 in Joliet. She survives in Dwight.
Also surviving is one sister, Lois Speicher, Houston, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan; and three brothers, Robert, Warren and George William Wagner.
Mr. Wagner served as a U.S. Army Air Corps pilot during World War II.
The family suggests memorials be made to the United Methodist Church of Dwight.
