Ellen Nadine Ledbetter, 80, of Greenup, Illinois went to live with the Lord at 1:03 p.m., Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the Cumberland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Greenup, IL.
Funeral services were held Thursday, January 4, 2010 at the Bishop Funeral Home in Greenup, IL with Brooke Davis officiating. Burial was in the Jack Oak Cemetery.
Nadine was born on June 17, 1929 in Benton, IL the daughter of Roy and Fultie (Nunn) Thurmond. She married Randall Ledbetter on January 29, 1952. Nadine was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother.
Nadine is survived by her Loving husband of 58 years, Randall Ledbetter of Greenup; two daughters, Madelyn (Randy) Black and Marilyn Greeson, both of Greenup; four grandchildren, Denice (David) Richmond and Felisha Kuhn, both of Atlanta, GA and Kyle Greeson and Whitney Black both of Greenup; three great-grandchildren, Kobyn Black, Brayden Richmond and Jaylin Housel; Two sisters, Pauline Crabb and Marchetta Lambert, both of Harrisburg and several nieces nephews.
Nadine was preceded in death by one son Dennis Gene; parents; step-father Alva Wade; two brothers Ed and Eugene Thurmond and a sister Vivian DeMoss.
Nadine will sadly missed by her family and friends.
