Olney Lady Tigers fall in
championship game to Oblong

OLNEY - The Olney Lady Tigers varsity softball team fell to Oblong in the championship game of the Lady Tiger Classic, 9-6.
The Lady Tigers started the classic off with a win over South Central 8-2.
Getting the win for Olney was Aubrey Page (W, 1-0), who threw 7IP; 5H; 2R; 1ER; 4K; 2BB; 94 total pitches; 28 BF. Taking the loss for South Central was Katlyn Hilmes, who threw 6IP; 14H; 8R; 7ER; 3K; 5BB; 104 total pitches; 35 BF.

Olney jumped out to an early lead, 3-0 after one completed inning, then scored four runs in the bottom of the fourth inning, and added one run in the bottom of the fifth inning, securing the win. The Lady Tigers outhit South Central 14-5.
In the championship game, the Lady Tigers found themselves behind, as Oblong jumped out to a 5-0 lead after two innings. They scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth inning, giving them an 8-0 lead.
The Lady Tigers mounted a comeback scoring two runs in the top of the fifth inning, then four runs in the top of the seventh, with Jalayna Reynolds starting a rally with a double; Jesika Ochs, singled; Aaliyah Wease, ROE; Sophia Colclasure doubled; and Paige Ginder singled. Reynolds, Ochs, Wease, and Colclasure scored, but fell short, losing 9-6.
Getting the win for the Lady Panthers was Camryn Travis, who threw     7IP; 10H; 6R; 3ER; 8K; 0BB; 115 total pitches; 32 BF. Taking the loss for Olney was Sophia Colclasure (L, 16-11), who threw 6IP; 12H; 9R; 6ER; 1K; 3BB; 1HR; 104 total pitches; 33 BF.
