The Cookie Walk and Bake Sale will take place on December 14 and 15.  On Friday, It will be held from 3:00 to 6:30 in the education building of the Grace United Methodist Church, one block west of the Newton Square.  The facility is handicap accessible. On Saturday, December 15 we will move to Joe’s on the East side of the square  from 9:00 a.m. until noon.

Help is needed to make this event successful.  Donations of cookies/candies and baked goods (pies, cakes, breads, noodles, etc.); cookies and other sweet treats (3-5 dozen of a single kind) should be taken to the mini-kitchen of Grace  Methodist Church before noon on  Friday, the 14th or may be brought in at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday (at Joe’s).  Workers are needed to help both days. Those who can help please contact Jane Casey (Phone 783- 2534), or email at Customers are needed to make this a financial success.   Buying cookies at the  Cookie Walk takes some of the stress and mess out of Christmas preparations and allows greater variety of goodies with much less work.  The buyer fills a box or bag with an assortment of cookies for a price of $7.00 per pound.

Jasper County Honey Do Ministries is a local non-denominational ministry that provides assistance in home care and repair during its summertime Mission Work Week.  Many elderly, handicapped and low income people of Jasper County have been helped through this local ministry.
